Space-Ships Diamond and Sapphire, offer our Scenic Culinaire experience, which allows guests to participate in a series of cooking demonstrations. During these classes, our chefs showcase regional recipes using the freshest ingredients, sourced locally from the finest provincial markets.

Our speciality dining venue, L’Amour, provides five courses of fine French dining, paired with local wines from the region’s best wineries. Serving up to 32 guests at a time, L’Amour’s intimate culinary experience is one that every guest can experience during their time on board.

No river cruise of the South of France would be complete without visiting Lyon. Undoubtedly the culinary capital of France, Lyonnaise cooking is a foodie’s dream. During your time here, take a trip to the culinary school of Paul Bocuse, the world-renowned chef famed for his innovative approach to cooking. You can refine your skills under the tutelage of some of France’s finest instructors, before sampling the school’s delicious fare.

Get to the heart of world-famous wine-producing regions, tasting the celebrated wines of Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape at exclusive sessions. Back on board, our expert sommeliers pair the perfect accompaniments to all your dishes – all complimentary, of course. An extensive selection of cocktails, mocktails, top-shelf spirits and local beer are also available to enjoy on board at any time of the day. 
Our range of dining venues


The main restaurant on board our French Space-Ships, Crystal Dining serves delicious à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. The wide range of cuisine, from seafood specialties to local delicacies, reveals a culinary showcase to suit every palate. Plus, with open seating from two to eight guests, it’s perfect for relaxed dining whatever the time of day.


Serving locally-inspired French fine-dining for up to 32 guests each evening, L’Amour does provincial French food with real flair. A five-course menu features regional specialities paired local wines from the region’s best wineries, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that take in rolling vistas and awe-inspiring landscapes as you dine. Not one to be missed, everyone has a chance to experience the incredible food here during their time on board.


For quick nibbles, flexible dining and tasty treats, the River Café makes a great little stop off through the day. Engage in a spot of relaxed chit-chat with your fellow guests, recharge before the day ahead with our healthy options or try something from the gelato bar and indulge your sweet tooth with delicious frozen desserts.


A treat for true gastronomists, Table La Rive is exclusive to our Diamond Deck guests. A six-course degustation menu allows you to appreciate the chef’s subtle, nuanced signature dishes, while sommelier-paired wines enrich the senses with the finest wines of the region. With an average of ten guests per evening, it’s an intimate, refined experience that every epicurean will delight in.
