  1. Day 1 - Welcome to Amsterdam

    Toast the marvellous journey ahead of you at this evening’s welcome reception. Please book your flight to arrive prior to 5pm in Amsterdam.

  2. Day 2 - Antwerp

    Be seduced by beautiful World Heritage-listed Bruges or take a guided stroll through Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world.

  3. Day 3 - Veere

    Marvel at the modern wonder that is Holland’s Delta Works and then visit the Storm Surge Barrier. Or discover charming Veere, either through a walking tour or a guided bike ride that will also take in the surrounding dykes.

  4. Day 4 - Arnhem

    Explore the Arnhem Airborne Museum and learn about the Battle of Arnhem. The Airborne Experience allows you to follow in the footsteps of the British parachutists who made their way across dangerous terrain to Arnhem in September 1944. Alternatively, visit the Netherlands Open Air Museum and discover the historic houses, farms and windmills, or join an active cycling tour to the town of Nijmegen.

  5. Day 5 - Maastricht

    Explore Holland’s oldest fortified city Maastricht and discover its magnificent buildings and historic cobblestone town centre.

  6. Day 6 - Xanten

    Discover the charming town of Xanten on a guided tour, including a visit to the town’s famed archaeological park. Alternatively, try something a little different with a visit to the Zollverein industrial site, once the largest and most productive coal mine in Europe, today a World Heritage-listed Site.

  7. Day 7 - Koblenz

    Take a guided city tour and be enchanted by the history and beauty of Koblenz, which straddles two of Europe’s most beautiful waterways. Alternatively, explore the city on two wheels on a guided cycling tour, or visit a local winery for a guided tour and tasting of its fine wines.

  8. Day 8 - Cochem

    A medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem will make you feel as if you’re stepping into a fairytale. Explore this charming city on a tour that culminates in a visit to the iconic Reichsburg Castle.

  9. Day 9 - Moselle Valley Cruising

    Admire the beautiful Moselle Valley from the comfort of your Scenic Space-Ship as you relax on board during a full day of cruising. This afternoon if you’re feeling energetic, take a guided bike ride to the pretty village of Bernkastel, where you can rejoin the cruise.

    Today you’ll have a great opportunity to mingle with newfound friends against yet another spectacular backdrop, while toasting the day’s end.

  10. Day 10 - Bernkastel

    Travel to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and tour this exquisite city. Alternatively, take a guided walk through Trier, or get acquainted with beautiful Bernkastel.

  11. Day 11 - Rhine Gorge > Rüdesheim

    Succumb to charming Rüdesheim, where you’ll board the Winzerexpress mini-train for a guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument.

  12. Day 12 - Mannheim

    Experience the thrill of the Hockenheim Formula 1 track with a museum visit and an insider tour of the circuit, or join an expert local guide on a historic tour of Heidelberg, where you’ll visit Heidelberg’s Renaissance castle. The castle ruins are among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. Alternatively, join a local guide for an orientation tour of Heidelberg, followed by leisure time.

    Enjoy a private concert at the Baroque Palace of Rastatt. It’ll be an evening of grandeur and a rare chance to collect memories that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

  13. Day 13 - Kehl > Strasbourg

    Visit Strasbourg and discover La Petite France, or journey to Mittelbergheim in the Alsace and sample some of the best wines the region has to offer.

  14. Day 14 - Breisach

    Be immersed in a truly magical experience during a visit to the Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum in the heart of the Black Forest. Alternatively, if you’re feeling more active discover the Black Forest during a hike, or take a guided bike ride.

  15. Day 15 - Basel > Zurich

    Today transfer to Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, where you’ll enjoy an overnight stay.

  16. Day 16 - Zurich > Montreux

    This morning, visit the elegant Bahnhofstrasse and see the Romanesque Cathedral. Then, leave Zurich behind and journey to Gruyères en route to Montreux, where you’ll enjoy your overnight Special Stay.

  17. Day 17 - Montreux > Zermatt

    Cruise on Lake Geneva to Chillon Castle and enjoy a guided tour. Board a cog-wheel train to the Swiss Alps village of Zermatt. Check into your hotel for your two night stay.

  18. Day 18 - Zermatt

    Ascend the Swiss Alps by rail to Gornergrat, for magnificent views, including the Matterhorn. Alternatively take a guided hike through majestic mountain scenery.

  19. Day 19 - Zermatt > St. Moritz

    This morning drive to Andermatt where you will board the Glacier Express for a spectacular rail journey through the stunning Swiss Alps, before arriving in St. Moritz.

  20. Day 20 - St. Moritz > Bern

    Enjoy conversation and cheese tasting with wine or home-made apple juice on your visit to a rural Swiss farm.

    End the day with a two night stay in Bern.

  21. Day 21 - Bern > Lucerne > Bern

    Journey to Lucerne, and enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town including the Chapel Bridge, followed by a picturesque cruise on Lucerne’s lake to the village of Vitznau. Join the oldest cog-wheel train in Switzerland for a breathtaking ascent of Mount Rigi.

  22. Day 22 - Bern > Innsbruck

    Leave Switzerland bound for Austria.

    Visit the Austrian town of Seefeld and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, and treat yourself to the famous Austrian dessert, apple strudel.

    On arrival to Innsbruck, enjoy a tour of the city and visit the Bergisel Ski Jump tower for breathtaking views over Innsbruck before arriving at your hotel.

  23. Day 23 - Innsbruck > Munich

    Travel through towering peaks to Hohenschwangau to see the majestic spires of Neuschwanstein Castle, which you’ll also visit. Later follow the Romantic Road to Munich for a two night stay.

  24. Day 24 - Munich

    Explore the streets of Munich on a walking tour.

    Visit BMW World and Museum. Alternatively, discover the haunting history of the Dachau Concentration Camp on a guided tour.

  25. Day 25 - Munich > Salzburg

    Visit the Eagle’s Nest, located in the Bavarian Alps, then continue to Salzburg where you’ll visit locations used during the filming of ‘The Sound of Music’, as well as Mozart’s birthplace and residence. Tonight, stay in Salzburg.

  26. Day 26 - Salzburg > Vienna

    Delight in the spectacular scenery as you venture into the Salzkammergut district, made famous by ‘The Sound of Music’. Continuing on to Vienna you will check into your hotel, your base for the next two nights.

  27. Day 27 - Vienna

    Your expert local guide will show you the city’s imperial glory during your guided tour. Then visit the Silver collection in the Hofburg Museum.

    Tonight, enjoy a concert of classical music at the Kursalon, a beautiful Italian Renaissance Palace, followed by dinner.

  28. Day 28 - Vienna

    Depart after breakfast. Vienna may be the end of your journey but it will be the start of a lifetime of wonderful memories.
