1. A New Discovery in Antarctica

Picture this. Instead of spending just over a day at sea traveling through the Drake Passage, the waters between Argentina and Antarctica, you’ll take our new Scenic flight directly into the heart of this epic landscape. Scenic Eclipse will be awaiting your arrival, and as you step off the plane, you’ll be straight into exploration mode. You’ll meet your specialist Discovery Team, ranging from historians to geologists, they will prepare you for the journey of a lifetime. It could be zipping through the icy waters of the Weddell Sea on a Zodiac to marvel at a colony of Adelie penguins. Kayaking past glaciers, the size of Australian states. Perhaps you’ll even venture below Antarctica’s magical underwater world on board Scenic Neptune, our  custom-built submarine^. Whichever you choose, Scenic Eclipse’s cutting-edge design, with a Polar Class 6 rating, combines  ultra-luxury with unrivaled moments of exploration.

2. The Unique Wonders of Australia

If there was one word to describe Australia it is perhaps epic. Vast in size, rich in century-old culture, and blessed with ample natural wonders. To truly get to the heart of this country, our journey designers have searched this region for unique moments that have been transformed into Scenic Discovery and Enrich experiences. Each fully immersive and truly life changing. In Arnhem Land, you can learn about the oldest civilization on Earth. On the East Coast, discover Australia’s tropical playground, kayaking into secret swimming coves, snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef or enjoying a long picnic-style lunch on one of our most iconic beaches.

On the Kimberley Coastline, marvel at the deep turquoise waters of Prince Frederick Harbor, or take a Zodiac through King George River. At Scenic, we appreciate that each guest is unique. An abundance of experiences for mind, body and soul ensures you are able to handpick the experiences that fits your personal interests, then pursue them at your own pace. This is more than ultra-luxury cruising; this is personalized moments you’ll always remember.

3. Indonesian Archipelago, West Papua & the Solomon Islands

The innovative design of Scenic Eclipse ensures we can go further into remarkable regions around the world. Unlike most other cruise ships, the Discovery Yachts feature state-of-the-art advanced GPS Dynamic Positioning System and extended stabilizers that holds her in place. With ease, we can glide into even the most ecologically sensitive areas. To take full advantage of this design, we will explore the largest archipelago in the world, navigating waters filled with 17,000 remarkable islands throughout Indonesia.

In Maluka Islands, you’ll learn why this stretch of paradise was once better known as the Spice Islands, thanks to an abundance in nutmeg, mace, pepper and cloves. In Raja Ampat, you’ll discover an underwater world filled with 75% of the world’s coral species. Then in West Papua and the Solomon Islands, it is time to learn of the traditions of a fascinating culture and its rich history.

Heaven on earth. That’s how explorers described Polynesia and the Pacific Islands after visiting this extraordinary region.  Vibrant green peaks rising into vivid blue skies, lined with turquoise waters and spectacular beaches. We’ll explore the volcanic terrain of Tonga’s Hunga Island, before marvelling at the Isle of Pines’ endemic pine trees that line pristine white sands. In Fiji, discover the crescent-shaped Fulanga Island, and then island hop all the way to the volcanic-shores of Tahiti. 5. Scotland, a Rich Historical Masterpiece

Windswept and wildly beautiful, the coastline of Scotland is a sight to behold. However, this extraordinary country is so much more than a visual masterpiece. Within those vibrant green rolling hills, deep countryside and architecturally stunning cities are stories that stretch back centuries.  Vast rising ruins that once belonged to rulers, cobblestone towns created by romans, and settlements where Vikings made the mark on this country. With Scenic, you’ll be taken to the heart of this historical masterpiece by our incredible on shore local guides. You’ll soon discover that while history rules in these parts, the shores are abundant with the world’s finest seafood and there’s spectacular wildlife at every turn.
